Steve,I am sorry that you thought there was an implication that you had lied. That isn't it at all; the point is that you seem to have some combination that is causing the Insert Shift r keystroke to work with JAWS 9, whereas the rest of us don't. Now, we need to isolate it; perhaps Vista is a factor here, so maybe someone else can test that for us.
Several months ago, many of us noticed that JAWS 8 would stop reporting the Copy and Cut commands after a while, but we couldn't find the thing that suddenly stopped this function from working until JAWS was unloaded and reloaded. Then, one list member, namely Andy B, found that the function worked fine until he launched Windows Media Player 11; that was the magic combination, which we immediately reported to FS. Of vourse, they didn't fix it in JAWS 9, but at least we know what stops the function and maybe some day they will have it repaired.
