Thanks for your advice. We will use the Word formatting for the
sub-sections and make sure that the A is upper case. It sounds like
this will ensure that this will be enough for any Jaws user to properly
understand our document.

Hi
Is the Section I meant to be the Roman numeral for 1? I ask this
because on my Jaws, II is read as 2 and III is read as 3, which might be
confusing. I checked the "'ah)" and Jaws spoke it like that only if
the A was in lower case, it said "(Eh)" when in upper case.
Are you going to use any Word formatting to identify your sub-sections,
for example are you going to put sections in Heading-1 format and
sub-sections in Heading-2? If a Jaws reader has 'Style Changes' set on
on whilst reading the document, the different sections become obvious.

Hi,
I am planning on distributing a Word document to some of our
customers some of whom will be using Jaws to read the document. I am
new to Jaws and am not sure how to deal with pronunciation of certain
punctuation. This document is organized into sections which are crucial
to the meaning of the document. Once example is a section I which has
subsections (a) and (b). When Jaws reads these subsections it
pronounces them as follows, "left paren ah right paren." Can I leave
this text as it is or would it be better to change it somehow so that it
is pronounced more clearly?
