This is just a shot in the dark but have you set outlook to just download
headers. I believe that in that case the keystrokes may not be bringing down
the message and until you actually open the message the message body may not be
available.

It's not a JAWS repair issue, as it occurs on two computers. What I have
determined, though, is that it only happens with unread messages, and that it
is an issue with OE and the use of IMAP. When I copy the messages to the local
inbox in OE, and mark them as unread, all works fine. I don't know if all IMAP
connections have this problem, but gmail has it with both my computers.

Thank you.

You may have to do a repair on your jaws.

If I've read the message previously, and go back to previous read messages, and
use either alt right arrow, or the CTRL+period command, it works. But if it is
an unread message, it will not show the message, even if I use the Insert+B
command. I think that if I use the tab key, the window opens, but this is a
real pain, having to use the escape key to back out of the message, use the
down arrow to navigate to the next message, then use the enter key to click on
the next message to read it. It does this on both computers, so I'm wondering
if I can set something differently in OE or in JAWS to avoid this problem?

Thank you for your help.

Subject: Outlook Express JAWS commands

Hi. I am having a problem with Outlook Express and two different versions of
JAWS. When I use the CTRL+comma and CTRL+period commands in jaws to go to the
previous or next messages, the message comes up, but it won't read the message,
and it says that the e-mail message has no links, even though if I exit with
escape and go back into the message using the enter key, it reads correctly and
shows the appropriate number of links in the message.

Is there something I can change in OE or in JAWS to resolve this problem, or is
it a known bug without a solution?

Thank you in advance
