You are right, it is plugged in and does show up. The jfw.ini file is modified so at present, everything is working the way it should.

Thank you for all of you're help.

I don't think you will see any entry for the Magic Jack device if it is not plugged in. It may only show up when it is connected. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Katherine Schulz" <katherineschulz6266@xxxxxxx>

In the Device Manager, I looked through all 14 items listed under JSB and there was nothing about map through this device. I tried to copy the list to the clip board but couldn't do it. There are 4 route hubs, and some intel listings along with mass storage and something else regarding storage.

I will look at the article regarding modifying the Jaws file, but I don't know if I have enough experience to do it on my own.

Another thing to try is the "do not map through this device" option.

Here is a message that describes the steps.

There should be an option in device manager for the device. On my headset it's called do not map through this device, and checking that makes it never become default unless you tell it to. It's a little buried in there under USB audio device, properties, and USB audio device again for some reason.

ps. Don't forget to try modifying the jaws.ini file method. here is info
on doing that.

Ignore the part about replacing the drivers. That is for version 4 of Jaws.
