Hi Glenna,
No, the address won't go automatically into your address book unless you've
checked a certain box in the Outlook Express Tools/Options tabs to have it
do this. For instance, I don't have my OE do that, because I don't want the
Address Book to just fill up with the addresses of everyone I ever happen to
reply to. You should explore the Tools/Options menu in OE, and that will
explain a lot about how the program works and how you can adjust it to fit
your needs.

Tools/Options. Now use Control Tab to go from one "tab" or page of these
menus to another.Control tab to the Send tab. Now just use Tab to go
through the settings on this tab. Soon you'll hear an option to
automatically put into your address book the address of everyone you reply
to. You will hear that it's checked, in

Now, to just add an address yourself, here's the way to do it from scratch
if you know the address and can type it in or paste it in. Open the Address
Book while you're in OE with Control Shift B. The Address Book opens. Now
press Control N to begin a new listing. Now type whatever is required into
the fields in this form, and click on OK at the end. Then exit the Address
Book by hitting escape until it goes away.

Another way to add someone's address, when you have an open email from them
in front of you but you don't care to reply to it at the moment: Alt T for
the Tools Menu. Arrow down to Add to address book, right arrow, arrow down
to Add Sender.

And again, you'll just follow the directions.

Hope this helps.
case. You could uncheck it with the space bar, if you wished. Then you'd
tab down to OK and press Enter to change this setting and exit the menu.

Can someone tell me how to put an address in the address book? I'm using
jaws 7.0 with windows xp home. I know that if you reply to someone's message
it will go right into your address book, but I mean, just say you want their
address in your address book, and they don't need to reply? Glenna
