Lora, When I start a chapter or heading I center the title or heading with
control E. For the table of contents Select your text and hit control L to
align the text to the left. My suggestion is to center your heading first.
Then skip a line and start your table of contents. When you have a few lines
typed select them and hit control L before hitting an arrow key to unselect.
HTH, Judith

  Subject: Formatting in Microsoft Word

  Hi,

I'm trying to do some formatting in Microsoft Word, but it's not something
I'm very skilled at. Are there any tips or tricks out there for doing the
following

Designing an attractive table of contents and title page
  Working with tables in Word
Adding a header at the top of each page

  Thanks.

  Lora
