Hello to all the list,

Dean's advice contains what appear to be a couple of good tips. I'd further
add that JAWS still seems to be finicky about the screen resolution and
number of colors selected. In addition, another possible way of contending
with the problem in Word might be to press the key combination
control-shift-esc to get to the Task Manager in Windows 2K and XP. Then
press the key combination alt-v to go to the view menu. Then hit the Enter
key to refresh the Windows screen view. Then hit Escape to leave the Task
Manager. This might possibly fix the problem. However, if the difficulty
recurs with high frequency still occurs with high frequency, it would appear
that some other assistance must be sought. Hope this helps.

Regards

Make sure View on the edit menu is set to normal and that zoom off the view
menu is set to 75 per cent. Also be sure that the only tool bars active
are Standard and Formatting, and that they appear on separate lines. Go
through the tool bars on the view menu to get rid of any which have
mysteriously become checked.
