Hi, Just to make something clear, I tried using "insert f 10" and pressing Enter on the document in Word that was in use without any improvement. Also, the tool bar set up in Word is identical with 4.51 as it is with 5.084. This rproblem never occurs with 4.5xx but does occur with 5.084. The severity of the problem can change from day to day but most of the time down arrowing and up arrowing in Word X P will encounter some problem somewhere. Thanks for the tool bar idea! And refreshing the page does not improve the saying of information that remains "blank" when it is not blank at all. Thanks anyhow. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chip Orange" <Corange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, June 14, 2004 10:47 AM Subject: RE: Correction sought for reading problems with Word 2 k > I've found that turning off all toolbars can help (can't really figure > why, and it can be inconvenient if you need those toolbars). > > Hth, > > Chip > > =20 > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=20 > > [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ptusing@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > Sent: Friday, June 11, 2004 10:54 PM > > To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > Subject: Correction sought for reading problems with Word 2 k > >=20 > > Hi, > > Until recently, I had had relative good luck using JAWS=20 > > 5.0884 and even much better luck using 4.51 with Word 2 K. > >=20 > > But now when I down arrow lines can be skipped and are read=20 > > using "say all". > >=20 > > Up arrowing can skip alternating lines. > >=20 > > When trying to read the missing line, highlighting it can=20 > > work most of the time. > >=20 > > Is there some setting orm eans to get the reading improved? > > Thanks very much. > >=20 > >=20 > > -- > > To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx=20 > > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to=20 > > jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the=20 > > subject line. > > Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfw > >=20 > > If you have any concerns about the list, post received from=20 > > the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them=20 > > to the list.
