The view is defaulting to a large icon view. To change it to a list, follow
these steps:
1. Set the view to list or details in the view menu
2. Open the Folder options within the Tools Menu
3. In the Folder Options, navigate to the second property sheet with
CTRL-TAB
4. There is a button that instructs Windows to open all folders with
the current view. Activate this button and confirm your intentions.
5. Close the dialog with OK to save the changes.
Your view for new folders will now be in the currently configured view.
