Hi,`
I'm a total beginner in this, but since no one has answered...
Do you mean that you want to write a function that would check if a file is
opened?
I don't use audacity, You have to find out what differences occur in the
audacity window when you open a file. The first thing which comes to my mind
is the title of the window. Or it could be that another subwindow is created
in the main audacity window. Use the home row utility or some other object
exploring program to find out. When there are too many objects and
navigating with the home row utility is harder, I use windig which writes
all the objecgts with all their properties in a text file.
