Hi Alex,

Yes, going into Internet Options, then the privacy page to the Popup
checkbox is just an alternative way of changing the status of your popups.
If I recall correctly that should be checked.  On that same page look in the
item called "sites" which I think Phil mentioned.  Worth looking in.

Popup Blocker should be activated.  If you press enter on a Login link and
it won't let you in then use the shift enter key combination and you should
be let in.

I received the following in an off-list reply to my problems with popups

"1. Go into Toots menu Alt + T and O for internet options n internet
explorer


2. Tab + Alt twice until you land in the Privacy tab


3. Press Tab 4 times and it will say Pop-up Blocker and announce whether the
check box is checked or not.  You probably need it checked to block
pop-ups."

Having checked the pop-up blocker I see that it is checked and yet I am
seeing screens to do with offers from Lloyds TSB when I am on the site and
some of these seem as if they are flash movies
