[j-say list] this is getting weirder by the minute!

Hi all,
well, this is the latest.
When I plug in the USB headset, without Dragon launched, and I unplug the USB 
headset, the speech is just fine on my speakers.  However, if I launched Dragon 
to use j-say, and I unplug the USB headset, I get no speech.
So, what do you all think about that one?
