I think it is to do with Vista using NTLMv2 as i stated above so if you have Business or Ultimate versions of Vista you should try the above. If you have Home/Home Premium then go to the Windows icon , open you Network and then in then select Network and sharing Center. Make sure that only Public Folder sharing is selected and not password protected sharing. If you go back to the Network window view then you will see a public folder on the left hand side, click on that and you get a selection of other folders and these are the ones that are shared. On the RISc OS side something like this in Omniclient should connect Name - Vista machine Server Name - What ever your Vista machine is called Directory path - USERS User name - Guest Password - Null You will find that you get errors when trying to transfer but it does work in a fashion.
