It's been ages since I've used the program, sorry. Although there is a
'Save Status' it saves a Data file with different format to a Palette
file (though also 120 bytes).

You can save out the desktop palette file by creating a 16 colour
sprite (with Colour palette) in Paint and then use 'Save->Palette->'.
You can then run this file to set the desktop palette (and mouse
colours). Should work from any version of RISC OS with Paint.
