Hi Redex,
I've heard bad things about Enternet. Try RASPPPoE and see if that
helps. Of couse, the MTU think always is problematic.

It is a Mexican DSL Provider, it uses ENTERNET Software by
Efficient Networks, The modem is a SPEEDSTREAM 5360.
