My users access the websites of the diferent Ports around the country,
and most of them use java applications. Basically what they are using is
Jinitiator, and Jinitiator use port 9000.
So I open that port with a couple of IP's as a target and works fine.

Yo.

How do you guys typically handle users who want to utilize vendor
solutions
that are "custom" JAVA apps that run on arbitrary ports? Do create
custom
rules for each site and load the firewall client?
