Authentication

Hi All,
We have a need to allow basic authentication for one application on one PC.
All of our browsers are IE 5.x
If I choose Integrated and Basic authentication will the clients choose
Integrated by default as it is the most secure and if it doesn't work then
use Basic?
This is for the ECI software for our GST.
