[Ilugc] Why does Desktop/Notebook Manufacturers not recommend linux?

Interesting "feeling". Lack of Drivers for what hardware?? Give me
some examples of hardware that *is* absolutely necessary for
functioning of a system with no "Free" Device Drivers for it.


Have you ever used GNU/Linux on a non-Intel (non AMD too) platform?
