Microsoft and other proprietory companies make money (without
justice) by selling products that were never made again or never
involve cost. They make increasing revenue with constant cost.
True... This point is accepted and i have capture in my document.
This has to be set right.
For example once you buy a product, the upgrades should be charged less or even
can be given free if there are no major changes.
Giving it free and that too the source code is not a solution.
Still you have to maintain, fix bugs add enhancements right ?
Talking about the IT industry, revenue can be logically made from
services not by selling zeroes and ones, which of course you don't
own.
As per my survey, Revenue model from services has not worked out.
Give a an example of such a success.....
