[Ilugc] Good Tamil support in Ubuntu 6.06

Happy to see your feedback. I havent tried the new version of Ubutu yet.
Here are my comments.
1. The tamil rendering was available in ubuntu's earlier version also
2. Even earlier also typing in tamil is possible.
Yes. I agree. I meant better rendering in firefox (kokki characters are
displayed properly). Typing was also available (tamil-gtk2im), but now with
better SCIM input frame work.
But my frustration was due to the fact that there were no support for the
following popular tamil keyboards.
1. tamilnet99 keyboard
2. Anjal keyboard (Transliteration keyboard)
3. Tamil typewriter keyboard.
Please let me know if the above 3 popular standard keyboard support is
available in the new Ubuntu. If they are available. I would be the happiest
person :)
1. tamil99 keyboard is available through tamil-gtk2im package (I don't that
layout, but I am able to type tamil characters). Both TSCII and Unicode are
supported.
2. tamilvp (Tamil Visai Palagai with both TSCII and Unicode) also available
and working. But I don't know whether it is Tamil typewriter layout or
something else.
3. Anjal keyboad is very much available through scim framework. It is
working good and available with simple user interface such applet based
language switcher.
