I want to share with you my pleasure of having wonderful Tamil support from
Ubuntu 6.06 (Flight-6). I am able to key in the tamil characters in phonetic
mode without any hassles. Switching between Tamil and English just a click
away. Font rendering also found to be good in Firefox and other
applications. But instead of Sans, we have to select other TSCu_* fonts
available for better support.
I hope now I have crossed another big *NOT IN GNU/LINUX* excuse. Great to
see this!
Note: I think our list member Mukunth (if am not wrong) was annoying some
times before about this tamil support in Linux. I think he reads this mail
and happy about it.
