Then the ports should all have worked. Things to check are port names from
the edit/browse menu. Also if you have pasted them in, it can be hard to
land on the hot spot; same problem would occur with off page connectors.

sorry i wasn't clear i asked the question while trying to dash out the door.
We're using 10.0 capture and the design is a flat design. We weren't trying
to use hierarchy. I thought we could do a "find and replace".
