[PCB_FORUM] Re: Rotate function grey up when moving components

Recently, while complaining about this "feature" the AE told me
that they are trying to rearrange this so's we can do all
of these things with the same command. I told him I wouldn't hold my
breath for this one. And he said, "No, it is true!".
Maybe sometime in the future we will see this.
Hey, one can hope, right?

As we long-time Cadence users say, "it's a feature, not a bug"...

That's the way Allegro works. When you "place" a component, you can move,
rotate and mirror it. When you "move" a component, you can move and rotate
but NOT mirror it. When you "mirror" a component, you can move it (it's
already mirrored) but not rotate it.

Go figure...but that's the way it works...
