Thanks, Linda. Very interesting. Yes. I am usually sitting down holding my
braille plus in my hand rather than having it flat on a table or using the
shoulder strap.
I'll have to try that.

Hi Paul,
I've found that the recording feature works very well when my Braille Plus
is on a flat
surface or when I've got the shoulder strap around my neck and the Braille
Plus is hanging
from my neck and on my chest or stomach. In that position, the Braille Plus
doesn't seem
to be bothered by my movements. If I hold it in my hand or on my knee, even
the tiniest
of movements will cause the recording to stop and the unit to go into
applications mode. Often, I
will have been completely unable to save what I've tried to record. By the
way, my internal
mike probably isn't working because I may have bumped it. The Braille Plus
makes awesome
recordings, but it does seem to be pretty sensative in some ways. I didn't
try
to record my tour of the NLS tour as I was too physically tired by the time
we arrived there
after another tour, but I have no doubt it would have worked well.
