Hi Joe,

I'm sure the internal mike isn't functioning as the first thing I did was to
check my
settings. If I try to use it, all I get is static, and I can hear myself
attempting
to speak faintly in the background of the static. Pamela suggested to me that I
may have bumped
the internal mike somehow. I do remember having attempted to use a Y cord to
patch from
my stereo to the Braille Plus. I was recording on to the Braille Plus from
vinyl, and until the
recording level suddenly shot up for no discernible reason that I could figure
out, all was
going well. I had to unsnap the little flap that goes over the internal mike in
order to get
my Y cord to connect, and that's when I may have bumped it, not that I remember
having moved
the unit when recording, but that's the only plausible explanation I can think
of for why the mike
isn't working as it should. Thanks for helping me.
