Hi, Joe. It usually happens to me when I am pressing up arrow. It just

Keep in mind that if you use the internal mike, it will pick anything which
comes from the speakers in
your unit, together with whatever you're recording.
If you raise the level without saying anything, the only sounds which will
be recorded are the
level numbers.
I'm guessing at this, but if you reduce the level, it could be that you
inadvertently press the
cancel key. Even here, though, you really should only hear that your
recording is being saved.
It's hard to imagine it, but if you were moving fast, you might press
"cancel" twice, and then
you'd hear the applications menu announcement.
Otherwise I have not run into this situation.
