Hi Allan.
Excellent!!! very excelent!!!
You are crazy!!! big smile!!!
On map2 with old version warlords was problem betveen attack and defence,
because enemyes computer and I like human player have the same units. I have
much resourcess but I can not use all, because my units in battle blocked new
units which to move at the battlefield. For example:
I recruit some infantryes and cavalry and catapults and archers. I moveing
against enemy, but my attacks are not efective. The enemy health is strong or
i have little actions. I think that my units and resourcess are not efective
used.
War lords are very good map packs, i play very much still and still... smile!!!
Jarek

  Hi guys,

Ok, here is what I got so far.

Changes to the maps are :

Got rid of use_unseen flags for the two maps that were using them. I think in
this particular situation, the use_unexplored flag works better.

The tale of two cities had the computer side use orcs now, instead of just
evil humans. The orcs are basically just like human troops, except for two
special units, the antipalidan and the necromancer.

In the next two maps are the neighborhood maps. They got changed to the
survival of the strongest. One is human and the other is the goblin side of the
same map.

I replaced the top left human city with a keep, and there is a keep on the
bottom left. These actually work out really well. The computer was really
giving me a run for my money.

Anyway, my biggest problem is balancing the goblins. There is either too many
or too little. Any input on that would be appreciated. It is a fun map though.

The last map, so far, is the magnus opus.or just plain cool.

It has a basic storyline. The center kingdom, very mordor like, is being
controlled by the dark overlord, who controls the orcs, goblins, the dark elves
and some dangerous monsters.

These are thus being amassed for the generic take over the world and burn it
down theme.

AS the human player, you start with a stronghold, which is pretty much a
citadel. You get to build several buildings and put them where you want them
more or less. You also start with a settlers unit to actually build a second
dwelling.

The new buildings feature a merchants guild, which produces income to use in
a tavern or with other races to buy special units.

The embassy that trains diplomats, who are the only ones who can convert
neutral allied races to the good side. The tavern which , if you give enough
money, you can hire the powerful bard or the very legendary and dangerous steel
legion, who are a band of superior mercenaries.

There is the temple. I got rid of the abbey and tabernacle, and just did the
one building.

Anyway, there is a path or road that leads to every single potential ally.
You have to send your diplomats out to persuade the neutral races to join in
the fight. They are all over the rim of the map.

They are gnomes, halflings, dwarves, sylvan elves, high elves, centaurs and
minataurs.

With many of these come special buildings like groves, inns, towers, mages,
druids etc.

Also, scattered around the map are hamlets. Small villages of beings that are
the first to be attacked by the powers of darkness.

I have not been able to play this map long, and my brain hurts from all the
work I put into it, but hopefully this is going to shape up into something
really cool. It is only 25 x 25, which is not bad for me, considering my big
map creations of the past.

As always, be sure to let me know if anything is wrong, or if it sucks, or if
you wish to send me large amounts of monopoly money for no apparent reason.by
all means, please do.
