Greetings, I lost the thread, but if one obtains an MSWord document from someone and puts it on your Linux-only machine, is that something that MS might object to--now or in the future. Thus, MSWord aware free-ware might be a problem. If it produces an MSWord document, it suddenly becomes license-fodder for MS. It continually surprises me. History would seem to show that people who make temporary accomodations of convenience with dictatorships, either governmental or commercial, live to regret it. Gordon, -- Gordon A.
