hello BeOS fans,
while i do kind of understand this question being posted here because
afterall we are all BeOS users and a very friendly bunch but i really think
that the amount of off-topic traffic this group generates is a little
distractive of the overall objective of the list.
can i please ask that "newbie" type of questions be posted to the BeGroovy
forums ( http://forums.begroovy.com/ ) or the GreenBoard ( http://
www.thegreenboard.com/ ) or to the news lists ( comp.sys.be.help
comp.sys.be.misc ) and not to this list.
NO i am not anti-newbie. This email list is for OpenBeOS stuff. Not for
questions about unofficial or even official BeOS releases with regards to
"how do i ......" questions.
So anyway. Sorry if i have offended anyone with this post, but the news
groups and the forums are where questions like these should be addressed
because some of us pay for every byte of traffic we receive.
yes i know i can re-direct my email to hotmail and let my employer pay for me
reading my emails while i'm at work. but that's ok as long as my employer
allows me to have internet access.
something in this day and age which every employer is questioning due to
costs.
