Can't Haiku use universal binaries just like Mac OS X? Eventhough this term is only used since the Intel transition, this concept is part of the OS since NeXTStep. Until recently eg. Mozilla apps for Mac where compiled with GCC3 and GCC4 and the resulting binaries were merged at the end into a single binary. - Markus
