a webcam... but the output? I would assume that is my monitor but it also
sais <none>, not sure how
to interpret
that.)
Video output is for recording equipment, it was used for firewire DV cameras
where you could send video
to the camera and have it record it on its storage media.
I think rudolf has been experimenting with using extra displays as video-only
devices, too (so you could
bypass app_server and have your video sent directly to that display, with
perfect vsync and no interference
from other applications, no mouse cursor, etc).
