Maybe add a comma between "volume" and "to", unless you like the
ambiguity humour of:

So, what does remapping audio channels do? You could add a line saying
that nobody knows what that setting does :-)
I understand the refuse format changes option, but do end users? It
means the audio hardware has to match the sample rate (and size too?)
when playing back, so if you have a 44100hz .wav file, playback will be
rejected on 48000hz audio hardware. Same for recording - hardware has
to be set the same as the requested recording sample rate. For people
who want absolutely the best quality with no interpolation artifacts.
