I can open a file, but when I try to save it to another location, I get the same error message: "Error in program. OsErr = -36 Continue" Thanks, Dani, sorry to write so late -----Original Message----- From: goodfeel-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:goodfeel-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of albertm13@xxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, January 17, 2014 8:16 PM To: goodfeel@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [goodfeel] Re: Error when Importing MIDI in to Lime Make sure Lime is closed and then try opening a Lime file from Windows. If it still doesn't work I'll check this out tomorrow morning. I haven't changed anything in my computer system--disconnected any hard drives or deleted any network folders. I can open Sibelius documents from the same folder the MIDI file is in without any trouble. Now though, Lime gives me the following messages when I open the program: "MIDISignIn(): An error in midiInOpen() = 7 OK" (I press OK then get:) "Error in program. OsErr = -36 Continue" Can I reinstall Lime? What should I do to fix this? I've got schoolwork that requires Lime and Goodfeel, so am hoping to get a handle on this soon. (Isn't it like the computer gods, though ...) *sigh* Thanks, Dani -----Original Message----- From: goodfeel-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:goodfeel-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of albertm13@xxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, January 17, 2014 1:12 PM To: goodfeel@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [goodfeel] Re: Error when Importing MIDI in to Lime Hi, I think that means Lime is having trouble accessing a folder. I suspect the last Lime or MIDI file you loaded into Lime was from a network or USB drive or some other folder that no longer is there. Whatever the case, please try to restore the network folder or put a USB drive that you often use back into the computer and try it again. If this doesn't make sense or it doesn't help, tell me and I'll figure how to reset Lime so that this won't happen anymore. Tell me how it goes. I'm trying to import a MIDI file in to Lime and am getting the following error message: "Error in program. OsErr = -36" What does this message mean, and how do I fix this?
