Not those two rules. The rest is OK.
The cache owner has always refused to change those rules. Neither groundspeak
not I wished to hunt them out but if there were complaints then the choices had
to be maid. The two problematic rules needed to be changed or the owner could
archived. Looks like RogBarn has chosen to archive rather than remove the now
non grandfathered rules.
I suggested removing the two rules and letting anyone that has met the
challenge with outhouse two rules be allowed to log it as they should have been
nearly all along.
In the beginning I think it was alone to make cachers declare their intention
and not allow past finds but that changed some time back. Everyone has been
aware of the changes, we have discussed a few times so the rule cache should
not be a surprise. This has nothing to do with the new rule caches, BTW.

But isn't it grandfathered in? I've been working on it way too long (almost 3
years!) to give up. I thought the new rules only applied to new challenges.

I have decided to archive the SLAGA County Challenge. It is way out of whack
with the new guidelines. If you are close, go find it now. Glen won't let me
keep it open for long. I would like to setup a new simplier SLAGA County
Challenge but since I haven't actually finished it myself, I'm not allowed.
Let me know if you are interested.
