- While I support this cache in general and congratulate the finishers, I will not be doing it. The rules seem a bit excessive to me, namely the rule that you must state your intent before any caches that you find count. In general terms, I would have it over half finished having done the Missouri County Challenge if it weren't for that rule. I would think that anyone who completes an entire state's challenge (a far more daunting task, IMO) after the publication of this one would get to count those caches. However, due to the rules they aren't. That's the cache owner's choice and I can respect it, even though I disagree. -Michael ________________________________ -----Original Message----- From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Roger Barnes Sent: Thursday, August 19, 2010 10:47 PM To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [GeoStL] SLAGA County Challenge - Just a quick shout out about my SLAGA County Challenge. There are now 100 cachers who have logged a note to say they are starting the challenge. Only 17 have finished. I thought there would be a lot of people finishing it up this summer but there has been only one finisher since mid-June. Let's get out and explore this area we call SLAGA territory! If you are working on it, I'm curious about how close you are to finishing. Obviously, this is a public forum so if you don't want to be specific, that's fine, but I'd like to hear some comments. For those who are not familar with it, check it out at GCZPRB. **************************************** For List Info or To make _ANY_ changes to your account, including unsubscribing from this list, click -----> //www.freelists.org/list/geocaching Missouri Caches Scheduled to be Archived http://tinyurl.com/87cqw Missouri Geocaching land policies --> http://tinyurl.com/lgyy84 Missouri Geocachers Forums --> http://mogeo.ipbhost.com/index.php Missouri Geocachers Calendar ---> http://mogeo.ipbhost.com/index.php?app=calendar
