- Mike, Cache maintanance is something altogether different then logging complaining notes on where it is located or how it is hidden....but even in the case of a cache that was wet inside ...I might note it in my log and then email the cache placer with the information as well. But I would definetly NOT make a bunch of negative comments about how this cache is not maintained etc unless there are a number of comments about it not being maintained in a row. I received 3 comments on my Collector's cache being wet before I mananged to get there and pull the cache for maintanace. It wasn't that I wan't concerned about it ...I was just extremely busy at the time and could never even find a couple of minutes to get to it. So sometimes there are extrenuating circumstances that need to be taken into account. I don't know about you or the rest of the cachers but I read every log the comes in on my caches and I take them very much to heart....if someone criticizes my caches I take it seriously...I place them for a reason....sometimes the reason is obscure or maybe not even very good but there is a reason. All I meant by the previous email was that some of the comments I have seen lately could have been said in a more humane way and not blast the cache placer.
