It would be time-consuming for big all day, multi-multi cache outings, but an
email to the owner of the cache would allow anyone any details they might
desire. I had one lady email me concerning the terrain star ratings. She has a
daughter that has severe vision limitations, which would make some caches
extremely dangerous for her (Shooting Star and Gans Creek are perfect
examples). I emailed her a brief summary of each of my caches so that she could
pick and choose the ones she thought would be appropriate. She appreciated the
help and has since visited several of my caches.
This is also an excellent reason for anyone placing a cache to be sure to add
any relevant information on their cache page. As is (almost) always the case,
ignorance is not bliss.
