No, more like the DISPLAY environment variable. E have floating DM licenses for 
all remote sessions.

What started this whole thing is that historically the remote users connected 
directly from their PC, so DISPLAY could be PC_NAME:0, and all was well. This 
is hard coded in /opt/ia/.profile.

With the new design, if we continued to use X, we would need to set DISPLAY to 
TER_SERVER;SESION_NUMBER. I want to take advantage of having to make this 
change to switch to VNC, so I never ever have to deal with fonts and colors on 
the PC end again.

BTW, what is the syntax of the command to disable omsets from the shell?
