Stan: I have a LINUX box running Xfree86 v4.2.0 (minor v11 - Jan 18/2002) I run my X server at 24 colors with backing-store & save-unders enabled. I have FOXBORO DM/FV's X-Windows displaying on the above described Xfree86-LINUX box. The only problem I encountered with the standard /opt/ia/.profile script for sending my LINUX box a FoxView X-Window is the way the /usr/fox/wp/bin/blink_task is started. Original I/A v6.3 /opt/ia/.profile has this line: /usr/fox/wp/bin/blink_task -sig -r -hb 5 & I changed it to: /usr/fox/wp/bin/blink_task -f & I also stopped the jet tool from poping up be pounding out the following line: # /usr/fox/wp/bin/jettool -grabkey 65481 -Wi -f & Good Luck Peter _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
