-------------------------------------------------------Don't confuse "what they
do" with functional practices.
There are *lots* of small businesses sending mail that can't get a PTR
record because of their ISP polices.

Are you prepared to maintain your own PTR records for each and every
non-UCE server that can't provide a "real" PTR lookup? ..it's what
you'll have to do.

Uhm so what your saying is there is no way to drop RDNS failed emails
correct? Yes I have Reverse lookup enabled on my Exchange for incoming
emails, however emails that file still get through, so there has to be
an easier way to blacklist the IPs that fail.

There mail servers on the net that do just that. Hence if your IP
doesn't have a PTR record your company is screwed big time!

Andrew

Its NOT something that you do with IMF but you can get exchange to do
reverse dns checks but be aware that this increases the load on the
server

Is there anyway to get IMF to drop emails that fail reverse lookup?

Thanks

Andrew
