I agree. I rang having had the same experience. It is ridiculous that an
application cannot be cross reference with an existing permit holder's name
and address.
We could write a compliant to the chief exec of the council.

every time a book of visitor permits was ordered.
I was told that this was to ensure that people were not ordering permits
when they had no right to them.
Surely we can't go along with this.
They must be able to check against the details they already hold,
especially if we already have a resident parking permit.
Any suggestions about what we should do?
