Hi all
Nonna's have made a planning application to extend their opening hours on
Fridays and Saturdays.
They want to stay open until 1am in the morning and keep their terrace open
until 11pm on those days.
Generally, restaurants on Ecclesall Road have been restricted to 11pm (or is it
11.30pm) for many years past. So this would be a substantial extension.
Nonna's argue that Covid-19 restrictions would make them unviable unless they
get this extension. However one needs to understand that planning permission
cannot be retracted once it has been granted.
I don't know whether ECCO members will have strong views about this matter. If
so then we could comment on the planning application as a group.
