Hi Fina,
Quick? Sort of. Dirty? Yes. Helpful? Hmmm...
I haven't worked with the Braille 'n' Speak for a long time, so take this
with a handful of salt. ...
If saving in .brf format isn't working, I'd say save it as a .txt file.
Highlight the whole thing in Duxbury, then copy & paste it into Notepad. (I
notice Dux has a "Duxbury Coded Text" option, but if she has already tried
that, then go the Notepad route).
I would save both untranslated & translated versions of the file. Though it
almost certainly won't be set up for the cleanest embossing, at least your
friend will have something to work with.

Hi steve and listers,
I need a quick answer from someone.
I have a friend who's trying to save a file in duxbury and then wants to put it onto her braille and speak so she can braille it at home. What format could she save it in? She's tried all the formats offered and says none of them works.
A quick and helpful response will be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully, fina B. Currey fcurrey@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
