You can just make some kind of small index file that you include in the =
.zip. This can specify the full pathnames, including the drives. Then =
you can examine this before you extract the files. Make sure you pick a =
unique filename that isn't likely to occur by chance.

can I compress them with full pathnames? I have no idea.
