Hi Chris!! I have placed comments within your message. Hi Phil and others. Your comments on the V64 compressor are interesting. So here's a question, what makes a good compressor, given that most have the same basic ratio, threshold, attack and decay parameters? Why is one nice or musical and another not regarded as highly? I think that's the thing. Each compressor, even in Software, sound quite different. For example, the V64, to me sounds like a valve or as Americans say, tube compressor. Where as the Sonatus one, sound cleaner and more transparent. They all have a place though. About V64 not working in programs besides Sonar, I've noticed the same thing with the Lexicon Pantheon reverb. I was hoping to use it in Sound Forge 6, but get an error after I pick one of it's presets Yup, you would as the Pantheon that ships with Sonar, only works in Sonar or perhaps, other 12 tone systems applications.
