Hello Ray. I have another track in which the input settings for the vocal are
exactly the same as those I described and where the interleave column is set to
stereo with the left channel being heard equally with no issue. Could an
incorrect placement of my Senheisser mic be causing the problem?

Set your input of the audio track to input 1, ... or the left channel for
