Yeap

Casual you can try stuff, random setups, go for wall carry even if you know you
probably wont make it, odd oki stuff, non main characters etc.
One still tries to win tho...

Serious tourney play you do what works, no experimental shit unless you are
losing and throw out a hail mary in the slim hope of a comeback.

I was surprised by the guy who said casual = not caring about winning/losing.

I disagree with that. For me casual = not tournament/money match/pride match.
I always care about winning. Even if I’m playing a match where I have zero
chance of winning, I’m not playing the match to lose.
If Paas and I are playing some random Tekken matches and we’re 28 games in, I
will play match 29 with every intention of winning. It doesn’t matter if Paas
has won the last 5 games, or if I have won the last 5 games, either way, I will
play to win.

You guys do realise that Raphamon will never learn right? Trying to reason with
the guy is impossible. Been there, done that. Few months down the line, guy
opens another thread spouting the same nonsense. The scrubiness runs too deep.
Nothing
you say will ever be accepted by him. It never sinks in.

I understand why capcom made only online, to prevent noobs complaining and to

a high stakes tournament , winner would be crowned
 the ultimate sf player.

Damn, this mode is confirmed to be offline-only.

At least it won't affect sessions though.

Notice the "controls" button on the select screen? Hopefully it means it can
set your buttons without having to enter a match.
