As LB was saying, uncle Salie and I are the old school gamers. Emphasis on the old. I’m still searching for some game that I played way back in 1985. Can’t remember the game properly other than it was a platformer and the theme playing was The Entertainer. When the game starts there is a house on the left/mid of the sceen. On the right is a ladder going up. I would kill to remember what the hell this game is. Does anyone know a person who does hypnosis? Maybe they can regress me and I can remember the name of the game. I’m not sure of the system I played it on – a pc of some kind, but could’ve been a commodore or something. I know that Paperboy was one of the other games that they had. I’ve gone online and searched for the damned thing. The closest I’ve found was a thread on theEscapist where people ask for help tracking down games that they can’t remember. Someone else had described the same game, but no one gave a good response. I’ve tried tracking it down through the music. I’ve tried just downloading ever game I could find that was released on or before. No luck. So sad. This will haunt me for all time. Played more Manic Miner. Still going nowhere. Also Dangerous Dave a bit, and a few others like it. Got stuck in Zork with one of those stupid questions that they have for copy protection – stuff you need to read in the manual. I’ll need to track down a walkthrough or something with those in it. I remember a fair bit of the beginning of the game and some random points in it. Fun to be replaying. Doesn’t go to full screen well though. Watching some of Shaheed’s moves. Took me a second to realise it was him. Thought it was Lars with a new customisation. Get the same feeling with the Quincy guy.
