Suggestions: o for browser: Netscape (free), Opera (not free, but the best) o for the mail program: Netscape (but only one POP account), Becky (shareware, at Tucows), Kaufmann MailWarrior (Shareware, but not expiring, at Tucows). I use Becky, it has the most options (eg for mailinglists), but it is not free. o for News: Don't ever think about OE for news-reading... it simply sucks. Use Xnews instead, it's free and fast and small. Find it at Tucows. You can also try ForteAgent or so, but Xnews is the best. (btw, if you are looking for these programs via Tucows, follow the link to the website of the makers and download there. Tucows hasnt always the latest version.) You might think that switching isnt worth it. I thought that too, but now that I've done it, I'm so much happier, and I dont want to go back.
