Any trainings in Collaborative Law: So far, the 12 hours of basic
collaborative law training, haven't done the 30 hour training yet, will
probably do that in May
What is your interest in Collaborative Law: I am planning on integrating
collab. Law into my practice, or even giving up the litigation practice
altogether, maybe. But based on my experience w/mediation and the like,
collab. Law seems a much better alternative to litigating, especially in
this field

I attended a collaborative training in Atlanta, GA, in early February 2007,
led by Lauren Alexander. I am also a family law mediator, having completed a
40-hour training with Betty Manley.
I am attempting to get collaborative divorce started in the state of
Alabama. I believe that the last place family matters should be resolved is
in a court room and am a tremendous advocate of alternative dispute in
family law.

What is your interest in Collaborative Law:
I am starting my own practice after working for Legal Services of the Hudson
Valley as staff attorney representing domestic violence victims in Putnam
and Dutchess Counties. I hope to focus my practice on collaborative law and
mediation, having witnessed the havoc litigation can wreak on the lives of
divorcing couples, but most especially children. I have also applied for
membership on the law guardian panel and believe the skills I am learning
through mediation and CL will help me in all aspects of representation of
families attempting to resolve conflict.

I am a Psychoanalyst, Mediator, and Divorce Coach. I belong to IACP, New
York Association of Collaborative Professionals. I have had
multi-disciplinary training with IACP and Intensive Mediation Training with
the Center for Mediation in Law with Gary Friedman and Jack Kimmelstein. I
have also studied New York State Divorce Law with Barry Berkman. I in
